Remote employees, even those with stable jobs, good pay, and satisfying personal lives, report profound isolation and a loss of genuine connection with colleagues while working from home. This leads to depression, burnout, career uncertainty, and a nagging feeling that something is fundamentally missing despite objectively good circumstances.
