• Creating synced dual-language subtitles is fiddly, slow, and joyless — no tool makes bilingual captioning easy

  Anyone who wants bilingual captions (English + a target language) has to build them by hand inside a video editor, and the process is a genuine chore. The source user edits in DaVinci but is forced into CapCut purely for dual-language subs because DaVinci is even worse, and still calls it 'a pain in the ass... still fiddly... quite a long process and the app is just fiddly and not very enjoyable to use.' This is the creation-side twin of the learner immersion problem: the demand for side-by-side bilingual captions is real and growing (immersion learners, language channels, international creators), yet there is no dedicated, intuitive tool that takes a transcript in two languages and produces cleanly synchronized dual-language subtitles automatically. Existing editors treat subtitles as an afterthought, alignment is manual, and creators are stuck asking strangers on forums for 'better alternatives' and getting none. The pain is high-frequency (every video), severely disrupts the creative workflow, and is clearly monetizable for exactly the captions/bilingual-subtitle audience TalkClips serves — yet it remains unsolved.
