  Buyers and sellers are being wiped out by counterparties who do not exist: fabricated names, stolen SIMs, burner phone numbers, a fake 'Atty. Mendoza', and a forged Deed of Sale were all enough to move ₱1.25M in cash out of an elderly seller's account in exchange for three boxes of worthless canned goods — handed over with no official receipt and no way to confirm that the 'supplier' entity, its owners, its phone numbers, or its bank details matched any real registry record. The collusion model (a fake buyer and a fake supplier working the same victim from two directions) is deliberately designed to survive the checks people actually have available: meeting in person, seeing a nice mall office, receiving a small sample payment as 'proof of good faith'. There is currently no affordable, fast service that takes a counterparty's name/website/phone/company detail and returns a sourced identity-to-entity verification — cross-referencing business registries, addresses, officers, domains, and contact data — before cash changes hands. Police reports happen after the money is gone, and identity fraud of this kind is structurally unsolved for individuals and SMBs.
